We regularly get asked why that name the orange turn. Does it mean something? The answer is actually yes. The colour orange was not chosen at random. The colour orange generally symbolises joy, enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement and stimulation. Ultimately for many beautiful, positive and good things. Also, the colour stands for warmth. And these are all particularly important core values for us.

van Oranje-Nassau

And of course the colour orange also stands for our origins. We Annemieke and Bink, we are both from the Netherlands. And for those who don’t know, the colour orange is a pretty important colour. After all, it stands for the Dutch royal family. The king’s surname is ‘van Oranje-Nassau’ and Oranje is translated Orange. All the Dutch sports teams are always dressed in orange. Despite wanting to be people of this world, we still see this as a piece of recognition and acknowledgement that we are Dutch after all.

With the orange turn, we want to give something to people in business. This usually means that they may or may not have to make a turn in their thinking. This turn can be explained in various positive ways. Sometimes you need to turn the rudder. Maybe even 180 degrees. Sometimes you only need a small turn. Either way, it is a turn in your ways.
